At the school we held the recital contest - poems of the Fall Season Recital. Our handmade bird of poetry alit on the school’s poetry reading event and became its symbol.
Today at the Lithuanian School of Washington, we commemorated the close of the All Saints and All Souls days.
Tests – A very comfortable way to examine student progress. Teachers prepared various interesting tasks that would reflect students writing reading and speaking skills.
We were gifted with a sunny and warm autumn day, which contributed to our school's good mood.
"Can you distinguish a person in the street who is well-read or poorly-read? Yes. From the eyes, from the facial expression, from the glances exchanged. And especially from the way they look at a child."
Today we said bye until September to the school and the teachers.
Today we reviewed what we learned in the last couple of classes, did some crafting, danced, sang and waited for next Saturday.
We are in the middle of May and are in the rush to finish the last of our work.
