The School’s “Alphabet Celebration”
The third-graders, fourth-graders, and pre-school students were invited by the first-graders to an Alphabet Celebration. There were many interesting quizzes presented to the students, such as finding the letters in the Lithuanian alphabet that do not exist in the English alphabet, determining the many ways that the Lithuanian language can make diminutive words, and demonstrating the shapes of letter the way that Kakė Makė forms them in L. Žutautė’s book.
