Pancake Day
On Saturday, the whole school flocked together with carnival masks. There was such a joyful noise that we did away with winter. Most of the students made incredible masks by themselves. Not all were traditional but they were all handmade. They put a lot of fancy in them. This kind of event not only gives knowledge about Lithuanian customs but also develops student's creativity. Kids were very active - they energetically played the drum and pushed the winter out of our year. Everyone ate pancakes with abandon. There was lots of fun and joy.
