International Children's festival in Washington D.C.
Today was a beautiful day. Our students, parents and teachers had a celebration. We represented Lithuanian in the international children's festival that was held in Ronald Reagan building in Washington D.C. There were representatives from 14 different countries. The children had an opportunity to explore. They picked up a 'World Passport" to collect stamps from each country, create jewelry and taste different food. Our table was very popular. We had visitors from everywhere, who made bracelets in colors of Lithuanian flag, tried pretzels, asked questions about Lithuania.
We were most excited about our performance. Our dances and games attracted so many spectators! Our performance was beautiful, we were all very happy with our students, teachers and parents.
We want to thank Lithuanian Embassy for allowing us to represent Lithuanian in this fun and beautiful event.
