This Saturday we held a meeting with a historic studies Dr. Mingaile Jurkute, who is using the US archives to research the connections between the partisans and the CIA. Students in classes 2 through 10 participated in this meeting and discussed the partisan activity in Lithuania. The students actively participated in the discussion and learned about the role the partisan resistance had for regaining of the Lithuanian Independence. It was great to see active students, who were passionate to learn about Lithuanian history and were looking forward to pass on their knowledge to their American friends.
Peledziukai were learning about shapes, colors and letters C and Č. Kindergarteners started to talk about winter. 4th and 5th graders were declining nouns, while 9th and 10th graders were analyzing fiction and used the egazminatoriaus.lt
We all have also started to prepare for the winter concert.
