The Students Participated In The Essay-Writing Competition Sponsored By The Lithuanian American Community’s Educational Council
This Saturday our sixth- and ninth-graders joined the essay-writing competition. The sixth-graders created fictional stories and legends and the ninth-graders specifically composed legends based upon the paintings of M. K. Čiurlionis.
Our youngest students (the “Little Owlets”) talked about butterflies. Talia brought live butterflies to the classroom and was sorry to let them fly away afterwards. The day was full of other activities! Writing, dictations, learning, dancing, and singing.
