The school community joined the new “Forget-Me-Not” initiative to remember why Lithuania is free. On January 13, wear close to your heart an image of the Forget-Me-Not flower – a sign of memory and respect!
We, the citizens of Lithuania, were greatly tested on human links and determination to sacrifice for one another, and not just once in our history: 1918-1920, 1944-1956, and January 13, 1991.
Let’s demonstrate that there are many of us and that we commemorate those who were killed or injured not with sadness but with joy and gratitude. We are obligated to appreciate and use the gift of freedom responsibly.
