Snow Storm “Jonas” – Students Studied At Home

There was no school this Saturday due to the unexpected visit of Snow Storm “Jonas.”  The State of Virginia hasn’t had this much snow in 100 years.

Parents of our youngest students read Lithuanian books at home and learned five new words.  First graders read the Brothers Grimm’s fairy tale “Three Little Pigs.”  Students in grades 3 through 9 had lessons on Skype on folklore and parts of speech. 

We enjoyed watching the tricks of winter.  A competition was announced for “the most beautiful family picture in winter.”
