Class of April 9th, 2017

The theme of this class was Justinas Marcinkevičius poetry, his relationship with himself, the world, his virtues and his memories.

During the class we briefly discussed Justinas Marcinkevičius life and his significance in Lithuanian culture. We read multiple poems and talked about the most important words to the poet: homeland, language, kindness, mother, love, peace. We also discussed the most frequently used metaphors and their meanings. The boys liked poems "Jurga" and "Atsisveikinimas", while Gertrūda did not enjoy J. Marcinkevičius poems as much.
