All Saints and All Souls days
All Saints and All Souls days are very important holidays. November 1st is the All Saints day and 2nd is All Souls day, a day to pay the respects for the dead. For Lithuanians, the All Souls day is a more important holiday of the two. We visit the cemeteries, light up candles for the dead - it is believed that the dead also visit the living on this day. Today we talked about both holidays with our students. We sang the anthem, wrote, read, danced.
